“I Played For Asante Kotoko U-17 As A Captain” – Brother Sammy Discloses, Razak Ghana

Controversial Ghanaian gospel musician, Brother Sammy has revealed that he wanted to be a full time footballer growing up.

In an interview with Luv Fm’s DJ Reuben, the “Woa Na Waye” hitmaker claims he played as a footballer for Kumasi Asante Kotoko U-17 to the peak of being their captain.

“Most people don’t know this but I played as a captain for Kumasi Asante Kotoko U-17 back in the days when we used to play matches at Paajoe park. Growing up, I had wanted to play as a full time professional player until the Holy Spirit arrested me” he said.

However, he further adds to have invented a special meal on the market when he was a young trader, claiming God in his dream asked him to sell groundnut paste in addition to the bread business he was already into.
