GES Announces Re-opening Dates Of Schools For SHS Students

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that all SHS 2 Green track and Gold track students are expected to re-open school on Sunday 6th September, 2020.

A statement issued, on Sunday, by the GES, said this would enable students to continue with their academic work that was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It may also interest you to know that, SHS1 Green track and Gold track students are to reopen on the said date.

However, JHS1 and 2 students will resume on Tuesday 8th September, 2020 to complete their syllabus, the statement, signed by Mrs Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the Head of Public Affairs, said.

“All staff, parents, students and the general public are to take note of the dates”, it said.

The re-opening of schools for the students will go a long way to ensure that their educational future do not get truncated owing to the global pandemic.
