Kid sister of Razak Ghana, Drusilla Acheampong has sent a thought-provoking piece to students, parents, men and women of God, stakeholders and inter alia.
Drusilla believes the rate at which a fallacy that without good grades (formal education) one cannot become financially successful has been implanted in the minds of Ghanaians has escalated to a certain level that is worrisome and needs to be dealt with in no uncertain terms.
The young vibrant and eloquent social commentator, writer, speaker and community journalist made this articulation in a video available on her social media handles.
According to her, students should not worry if they have a great talent but fail in a subject or do not get the grades they desired for because their life will not be truncated if they perform abysmally in class.
In a jest, Drusilla said apart from graduates leaving school to form ‘Unemployment Associations’, the take home of some are just a peanut and cannot be compared to the amount people that invested in their talent get.
