What 2022 WASSCE Candidates Should Know

1. When results will be released

Results are normally released 40 days after the last paper, but this is not certain since the number of candidates writing differ in each year. Due to this, the results are expected to be released from 29th November 2022 to 5th December 2022.

2. Papers that leaked too much are marked with strict rules

Since most papers leaked during the examination, WAEC decided to mark papers that leaked too much, like the Core Math and Integrated Science, with strict rules. This is because they assume most candidates had the questions and so must perform better.

3. students who get grades D7 and below in their subjects will not get a university

All universities in Ghana have their cut-off grades, which is from A1 to C6. If you get D7 and below in your subjects, you won’t be granted admission to the University unless you resit the exams to get a better grade.
